Biden Administration Draws Criticism for Withholding Classified Documents on Trump-Russia Investigation

Republicans accuse White House of covering up truth, while Democrats and former intelligence officials defend decision citing national security concerns

President Biden’s Administration has recently come under scrutiny after it was revealed that they are withholding the release of classified documents related to the investigation of the Trump Administration’s alleged ties to Russia.

According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, the documents in question are related to the investigation led by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, which looked into allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election. Psaki stated that the documents are being withheld due to ongoing national security concerns.
